For All Skin Types. PCA SKIN Pigment Gel has a penetrating "triple-action" of hydroquinone, kojic and azelaic acids, plus AHAs that helps to exfoliate, bleach and inhibit hyperpigmentation and age spots.
PCA SKIN Pigment Gel Dyschromia Controller is the gold standard spot treatment for lightening skin discoloration. A highly effective blend of the tyrosinase inhibitors hydroquinone, kojic acid and azelaic acid simultaneously helps to exfoliate, bleach and inhibit hyperpigmentation. The pH adjusted with biocompatible AHAs L-lactic acid and citric acid. These AHAs also assist in the removal of impacted, melanin-filled stratum cells that contribute to the darker appearance of surface hyperpigmentation. PCA SKIN Pigment gel helps to inhibit tyrosinase, lighten and assist in exfoliating hyperpigmentation.
How To Use:
After cleansing and toning, apply a small amount to fingertips, smooth over affected area and allow to penetrate. Twice daily is recommended for optimal result. Follow with the appropriate PCA SKIN sunscreen moisturizer in the daytime and nourishing moisturizer in the evening. May be used day and/or night..
Tricks and Tips:
Use to "spot treat" breakouts. Patch test for a hydroquinone allergy before recommending this formula. If there is an allergy, suggest Pigment Gel "HQ Free". Any product containing hydroquinone must be occluded with a sunscreen during the day and an emollient cream at night to protect against oxidation (which may cause the product to darken and stain the skin).
Solution: Applied Pigment GelŪ twice daily over a four-month period. Note: No professional treatments were applied.
