A non-gritty, lotion formulation intendes for use with other M.D. Formulations Glycolic Acid products to treat mild to severe acne. By using a special, finely micronized benzoyl peroxide, M.D. Formulations creates a smooth, easily absorbed preparation with added humectants to help minimize dryness and irritation.

Directions for Use:
Cleanse skin thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of M.D. Formulations Benzoyl Peroxide over the entire area that tends to be affected - even if not currently active.
Unless acne is severe, begin with Benzoyl Peroxide 5%, applied at night only, over the appropriate M.D. Formulations Glycolic Acid product. Avoid eye area. Because skin may temporarily flake, peel or feel dry, start with one application daily, the gradually increase to two or three times daily, if needes. Apply over appropriate M.D. Formulations Glycolic Acid product.
When to Use:
Apply one to three times daily after cleansing. Apply before cream-based products such as Facial Cream or Advanced Hydrating Complex Cream. Apply after liquid or gel based products such as Facial Lotion.
What to do if:
Irritation occurs: If client experiences redness or irritation, have client wash product off and discontinue use. Once all signs of irritation subside, gradually resume applications once every other day. If there is no sign of irritation, usage can be increased gradually. Some clients may only be able to tolerate once daily application. Do not exceed twice daily application.
Dryness occurs: Dryness and flaking is common upon initial use of Benzoyl Peroxide until skin adjusts. If dryness and flaking is persistent, have client follow with M.D. Formulations Advanced Hydrating Complex Cream or Gel or switch client from Benzoyl Peroxide to Glycare Acne Gel. $20.00
