Main Ingredients:
Photonyl: An original complex protected by patents. Its constituents are based on natural cellular components, amino acids, derived from biotechnology. Photonyl is an energy dispersing agent; photoprotecting the active cells of the skins, especially the epidermal immune cells, the Langerhans cells and keratinocytes. This ingredient additionally protects against free radical destruction.
Titanium Dioxide: A well known and FDA approved UVA and UVB mineral-based sunscreen. It begins to work as soon as it is applied to the skin. It stays on the surface of the skin acting as a physical sun block.
Octyl Methoxycinnamate: One of the most popular sunscreens approved by FDA. A noncomedogenic substance obtained from various plants (storax, an Asian tree or the leaves of the cocoa plant). Considered a superior absorber of UVA and UVB rays.
Benzophenone-3: An oil-soluble UV absorber.
Filagrinol: A plant based complex composed of pollen extract, soybean oil, olive oil and wheat germ oil. This powerful plant combination contains a high concentration of vitamins such as Vitamin E (tocopherol). Filagrino favors a dramatic increase in the moisture levels in the epidermis.
Vitamin E: Vitamin E's chemical name is tocopherol. A powerful antioxidant that aids in neutralizing cell-damaging free radicals. As a fat soluble vitamin, it works within the lipids of the skin, therefore, maintaining skin moisture.
