Founded in 1999, Skin1 was a professional skin care organization with over 30 years of combined experience in every aspect of skin therapy. Our aestheticians and skin care therapists were licensed experts in skin and its proper care, and we believed that ongoing education was critical to keeping the most recent advances in skincare available to our customers, no matter what their skin condition might be.
We were conveniently located at 680 North Lake Shore Drive in Chicago — a historic landmark also known as the Playboy Building — on the Northwestern University Medical Campus. Our location placed us alongside hundreds of dermatologists and medical practitioners, many of whom worked directly with Skin1. This unique relationship between retail skincare expertise and medical dermatology gave our customers access to a level of guidance rarely found in online beauty retail.
From the beginning, Skin1 was built on principles that put the customer's skin health first. As an authorized retailer of every brand we carried, all products were received directly from the manufacturer and guaranteed authentic and fresh.
