A topical gel for the treatment and control of moderate to severe acne. Clears up acne blemishes, helps prevent the appearance of new blemishes and exfoliates dead skin cells.
Directions:
Cleanse skin thoroughly before applying. Cover the affected area with a thin layer 1 to 3 times a day. Because excessive drying of the skin may occure, start with 1 application daily, then gradually increase to 2 or 3 times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. IF going outside, use a sunscreen. Allow product to dry then follow directions in the sunscreen labeling. If sensitivity develops, discontinue use of both products and consult a doctor.
Warnings:
For external use only. Do not use this medication if you have very sensitive skin or if you are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. When using this product avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use a sunscreen. Avoid contact with they eyes, lips and mouth. If excessive skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and consult a doctor. This product may bleach hair or dyed fabric. Using other topical acne medication at the same time or immediately following the use of this product may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
