 Can you recommend any products that will smooth and soften my extremely rough hands? I have tried tons of lotions and creams but none of them last longer than a few minutes.
It seems counterintuitive, but the best thing for super dry skin is a lotion with alpha-hydroxy acids. AHAs are natural humectants, attracting and absorbing moisture, and they increase cell turnover deep down, making skin smoother, more flexible, and healthier. Use the lotion a couple of times a day.
