How To Use:
Both Retinol formulas should be applied to thoroughly clean skin. Do not apply any othercream or product when using Retinol. Rather, apply a small amount, the size of a pearl, to clean skin and gently smooth over face and neck, avoiding eye area. After application, do not rub or touch the skin. Ideally, Sothys Retinol 15 Nightcream will be applied in the evenings after removal of makeup, or by men after shaving. During the day, protect the skin with the use of a sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher.

Retinol: Retinol is the chemical name for the first of the vitamins to be discovered - Vitamin A. It is one of the hottest ingredients in the medical and esthetic fields because of its functional properties. In clinical tests, retinol has shown to: increase the rate of cell turnover (stimulate the cellular process of mitosis), promote production of collagen and elastin proteins and offer a secondary action of exfoliation.
Microsponge: Microsponge acts as a micro-reservoir system within the top layers of the skin. Their purpose is to store the ingredient of Vitamin A. The structure of the Microsponge resembles a miniature sponge, a multitude of pores. The ingredient, Vitamin A, is encapsulated into the many pores of the Microsponge. The encapsulation of Vitamin A makes the ingredient 100% stable, no air and no light interfering with this fragile antioxidant.
