Action:
The 2.5% benzoyl peroxide in this formula gently dries and heals existing blemishes and prevents additional breakouts.
How to use:
Apply a small amount on breakouts and problem areas, avoiding eyes and mouth. To build a tolerance to the benzoyl peroxide, have client leave on for one hour the first day, three hours the second day, six hours the third day, 12 hours the fourth day and around the clock the fifth day. If redness, itching, irritation, burning or excessive dryness occurs, reduce amount used or frequency of applications. If severe irritation occurs instruct the client to discontinue use and consult a dermatologist. Wash hands immediately after use. Keep out of reach of children. Be sure to tell clients that this product can fade fabrics and may bleach hair.
When to use:
Use whenever breakouts appear, following the above instructions.
