Jan Marini Skin Research Bioglycolic Facial Lotion SPF 15 non-chemical sunblock is the first glycolic acid resurfacing agent that is combined with a totally non-chemical sun blocking agent. Facial Lotion SPF 15 is formulated using highly micronized titanium dioxide and the identical percentage of glycolic acid as contained in our regular Facial Lotion. Titanium Dioxide is what is known as a "physical block", meaning that unlike chemical agents, it deflects the sun's UV rays before they can penetrate the skin. Because of titanum dioxide's superior ability to give total protection, it has broad spectrum blocking capabilities that include, UVB, UVA, UVC and infrared rays.
Facial Lotion SPF 15 provides excellent protection for all patients; especially those who have sensitivities to chemical sunscreens. Our preparation is comprised of non-comodogenic ingredients and is suitable for all skin types. As with regular Facial Lotion, we have incorporated our unique Phytoamine Biocomplex along with hyaluronic acid in order to significantly augment the skin's hydration level. Facial Lotion SPF 15 does not feel greasy or heavy, but leaves the skin with a silky smooth appearing texture.
