PCA SKIN BPO 5% Cleanser - 7 oz. - pHaze 31
A gentle and effective cleanser formulated with 5% benzoyl peroxide for antibacterial properties and a host of botanical extracts to clear, soothe and calm acne and breakout-prone skin.
Key Ingredients:
5% Benzoyl peroxide, Shea butter, Jasmine alcohol. (pH 4.5)
Functions:
Anti-bacterial cleanser without the irritating surfactants in other acne cleansers. Brings oxygen to the follicles to kill the p. acnes bacteria and stimulate healing in the skin.
Application:
Once or twice daily use for higher grades of acne. Must be used with sunscreen, as it is sun-sensitizing. Can be alternated with pHaze 32 Acne Bar or pHaze 1 Facial Wash for Oily/Problem Skin.
Tips and tricks:
Benzoyl peroxide can be surface irritating and may cause hyperpigmentation in higher Fitzpatrick (darker) skin types. Can be used as a pre-peel cleanser on acneic skin. |
