The penetrating "triple-action" of hydroquinone, kojic and azelaic acids, plus AHAs helps to exfoliate, bleach and inhibit hyperpigmentation and age spots.
Key Ingredients:
Witch hazel, Kojic acid (3%), Hydroquinone (2%), Lactic and Citric acids. (pH 4)
Functions:
To inhibit tyrosinase, lighten and assist in exfoliating hyperpigmentation.
Applications:
Pat on affected area, feathering the edges. Twice daily use is recommended for best results. Cover with sunblock moisturizer during day and an emollient cream at night.
Tricks and tips:
Use to "spot treat" breakouts. Patch test for a hydroquinone allergy before recommending this formula. If there is an allergy, suggest Pigment Gel "HQ Free". Any product containing hydroquinone must be occluded with a sunscreen during the day and an emollient cream at night to protect against oxidation (which may cause the product to darken and stain the skin). |
